Terrah Kocher's passion for all things wine, food and community began at an early age, growing up on a farm in Oxford where her Sicilian grandmother taught her how to cook using fresh farm ingredients and authentic Italian recipes. Her love for wine came years later during her first trip to Italy and is further pronounced in her blog and personal journal, Corkstories, which offers insight into the stories, flavors and experiences behind every uncorked bottle of wine.

Kocher graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in English and journalism. She spent her early post-graduate years in the newsroom at Channel 12 WKRC TV until the opportunity to travel lured her into the Offshore Powerboat racing industry where she focused her talents on earning sponsorships and national press for professional world championship offshore race teams.

Today, Kocher's focus is in creating brand awareness for small- to medium-sized businesses, technology start-ups, non-profits and local wine stores, as a marketing consultant. Her area of expertise is online marketing and communications where she adds value in creating social media campaigns and developing HTML newsletters, e-mails, brochures, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, Twitter accounts, writing blogs and earning press for clients.

Kocher has written a book about her recent trip to Italy titled Terrah Maria's Italy: The Journey of a Lifetime and the Recipes to Go with It, scheduled for release in 2011. The book is part guidebook, part cookbook, sharing the magnificent food and points of interest experienced on a recent trip to Rome, Umbria, Chianti, Florence and Tuscany. The trip was led by friend and chef David Falk of Boca Restaurant Group.

At home, she enjoys creating delicious meals for her husband, Adam; loving on their teacup multipoo, Lucky; connecting with community at Crossroads Church; and staying fit at Cincy Fit Body Boot Camp. Her dream is to one day own a vineyard with her family.
