Deck Your Halls with Devices 'Tis the season to be technologically equipped when it comes to beauty. Fa la la la learn how these products give women reason to ask for tools for the holidays. ![]() Forget the boughs of holly of auld lang syne. Today's woman reaches for more practical ways to be jolly about her beauty routine. So follow Nordstrom Regional Beauty Director Julianne De'Chaump in merry measure as she tells of some beauty treasures for this holiday season.
Fall trends have influenced holiday shopping, and one trend sticks out from the rest, a tendency toward the device sector of the beauty industry. "A lot of the focus for fall came mechanically, which is really neat for the industry of beauty," De'Chaump says.
The Clarisonic Skin Cleansing Brush follows the mechanical trend as it takes your nightly face scrub to a more efficient level and cleans twice as well as manual cleansing. But this Oprah favorite isn't just effective, it's also a money saver as it gives you more brush for your buck.
Following this season's emphasis on value, Clarisonic allows you to re-budget your time and money spent at the spa. "Now, instead of getting 12 facials in a year, it's one facial in a box, which is the Clarisonic," De'Chaump says. Beyond saving money for just yourself, you and everyone in your family can have your own brush head so that your entire family can enjoy clean, healthy, smooth skin.
CLARO serves as another great product that will help save you money as it makes you want to strike a harp and join the chorus. As the first device for congested skin, the Claro removes and prevents blemishes in a matter of seconds. Despite the power of this product, the price isn't too hard on your pocketbook. "It's a great gift that's life-changing," De'Chaump says.
Beyond the electrical side of the mechanics, De'Chaump recommends that every woman have a good set of tools in her beauty box. These tools include everything from a good set of brushes to an eyelash curler. "Never be scared to reach out and use a tool," De'Chaump says. She recommends going to various makeup counters to check their brush selections because each counter will have slightly different offerings.
